Like the homely atmosphere, cleanliness, simple food, staff.
I had a late evening train to catch, and requested that I be allowed to keep the room and was willing to pay half day charges. I did pay the half day charges, but had to vacate the room after 4 hours!! I felt, that as there was no pressure of another guest coming in to occupy th e room that day, you could have allowed me to keep the room for another 3 hours - that would have been real hospitality, with no extra cost to you and you would have got more goodwill. .
Far from the traffic..
Well..i should start with the location. No taxi knew where it was located. Moreover the area is a dirty garbage everywhere, The roof of the room was leaking.. Rain was coming in... Staff was absolutely unhelpful. The sheet cover was smelling like meldew. The restaurant area was a joke.. Definately not reccomended. Stay away from this hotel.
Of the 10 hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks tour in Rajasthan, Jai Niwas was the best. It is located in a (very hard to find in Jaipur) quiet place, and is noteworthy for its cleaness and kindness of the staff. Also, good budget food. Highly recommended.
Compare with other hotel we stayed in India, the staffs of Jai Niwas are the most friendly and know what is SERVICE.
Good location comfortable rooms, spacious and clean Quiet hotel absolutly noisless
Breakfast was a bit poor
I liked the modern ac and the big flat screen tv in my room. Overall my stay there was very pleasant, especially considering the price paid. This place offered the best value for my money during my whole 2 weeks in India (staying in 5 different hotels), I really wished they all were like Jai Niwas.
- No free wireless internet - I've got a couple of calls for ordering breakfast. I knew it was included, but I'd like to call them in case I want to order. However, there were no calls to sell me other meals, like it happened in other places.
Very quiet and convenient location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast o.k. Small green area very nice for kids to play in a safe environment.
i feel like stay my own house. breakfast very excellent to me. i booked deluxe room during my stay.........ohhhh so good surronding by small garden
Great view of the roof! The stuffs are so nice! There is a fancy room on the roof~
Dogs always fight in the night..
Homely atmosphere, gardens visible from every room, details looked into by the hotel for the comfort of the guests, the hot water available 24/7 :-) (thru solar powered boilers), heater/slippers/footmats in bathroom, the place was extremely comfortable. The food was tasty as well as hygienically made, the staff was very courteous and flexible. Beds were comfortable and warm quilts/blankets made available. It was a value for money place to stay in. Thanks
Very clean and tidy room, away from the busy district, quiet at night time. It is indeed like a little get away from Jaipur city. Nice courtyard to relax
A bit far away from the main city place, although it is a quiet place to relax, because of the quietness (have to walk 2-3min on a quiet street before reaching the hotel), it is quite scary for girls to walk this street. A bit hard to find the place, quite a few auto drivers do not know where this hotel is even with the map.
I was there to attend the Jaipur Lit Fest. Jai Niwas was within easy reach of the old city and the Diggi Palace. It was quite affordable, with a rather good cafeteria serving basic Indian meals. Excellent internet facility. Lot of green.
It just worked fine for me. Maybe, I would have liked to pay less for the rooms!
Is described as bed and breakfast but is in fact a small hotel (17 rooms). Its operated as a sme (small medium sized entreprise). Nice atmosphere, everything is maintained and clean. They have limited, but tastfull restaurant facilities. Close to the pink city and the city center. Extreme good for the money.
They have to upgrade their check in procedure, takes to much time (aprox. 20 minutes; the rest of india aprox 5 minutes)
Very nice hotel with all amenities situated within a very short walking distance to the pink city. The room was neat and clean. Wifi was offered which was pretty much appreciated.
